Facilities Manager

Job Summary

Manage technical services aspect of TCG GreenChem operation from maintenance activity to capital project evaluation and implementation supportingcontractors in construction and engineering commission on an as needed basis. Fully responsible for safety and compliance aspects related to TCG GreenChem facilities. Responsible for facilities related functions that support kilo lab operations and facilities including interactions with all related contractors.

Principal Duties

  1. Coordinate and supervise daily maintenance activities to existing TCG GreenChem facility and equipment including housekeeping, issuing hot permit, addressing safety and compliance issues related to facility / engineering design /equipment setup
  2. Schedule routine preventative maintenance of TCG GreenChem facility
  3. Maintain a library of operation manual, validation document of GMP equipment and facility, diagram and drawing
  4. Perform all aspects of managing capital projects for the TCG GreenChem including prioritization, budgeting, initiation, evaluation, implementation to ensure focused project execution within set timeline and within budget
  5. Supervise and manage routine maintenance and implementation of equipment repair and upgrade. Coordinate purchase of small items /spare parts to maintain reliable functionality of existing equipment and facilities
  6. Define project milestones and develop plan to meet a pre-set project timeline
  7. Provide oversight of calibration activities relating to TCG GreenChem facility and equipment
  8. Supervise contractor’s activity and construction personnel working in the TCG GreenChem in accordance with TCG GreenChem regulation and policy
  9. Assist to TCG GreenChem management in budget development and strategic planning
  10. Improve and streamline operations in the TCG GreenChem including improvements in equipment, facility and procedures
  11. Perform all duties in compliance with company policies and with external regulatory agencies such as OSHA (Occupational Health and Safety Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and NJ DEP (Department of Environmental Protection)

Job Qualifications

  • BS degree in Engineering or relevant experience in facilities managementin manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated a successful track record of facility and capital project management. Supervisory experience of contractors in constructionarena
  • Demonstrated a successful track record of initiation, evaluation, introduction and completion of capital projects
  • Experience or training on specification, design, and maintenance of variety of scale up equipment is a plus
  • Experience in writings of project proposals and user specification of capital projects
  • Must be able to develop and track timelines to schedule and negotiate resources in managing project execution
  • Must be able to communicate effectively internally and externally, to participate and lead interdisciplinary teams
  • Well understanding of safety requirements for project design and implementation
  • cGMP experience is a plus
